Inaugurated TREC-STEP’s New Technology Incubator Building on 8th September, 2007
The Honourable Home Minister (Former Finance Minister), Shri. P.Chidambaram has inaugurated the New Technology Incubator Building on 8th September 2007 at 5.30 to 6.30 p.m at TREC-STEP. About the New Incubator Building:
The New Technology Incubator Building is a dedicated facility to promote knowledge based, high growth start-up companies in high technology areas. The building shall provide Modular Incubation space for promoting the venture of young hi-tech entrepreneurs, with other incubation facilities. The building shall house a design theatre. This new facility shall be a boon to the young hi-tech entrepreneurs for accessing and utilizing new design engineering software and hardware. This common facility center, the design theatre, shall have latest software, hardware and networking facilities.
The facility is funded by multi donors including the Ministry of Small Scale Industries, Government of India, the Ministy of Science and Technology, Government of India, the InfoDev World Bank program and the Tamilnadu Small Industries Development Corporation.
