Ideathon Challenge @ NITT 16 selected student’s teams, presented their innovative product / process ideas and business models. Top 6 winning teams to work with TREC-STEP to further develop their business plans.

Entrepreneurship Primer Event at reputed Academic Institutions. 100 students participated in the event and interacted with the senior incubation managers of TREC-STEP on new enterprise promotion.

Incubator visit and Interaction with Faculty Members 30 faculty members from various Engineering colleges participated in an Incubation interaction and visited the facilities at TREC-STEP

BIG IDEA Challenge: Partnered with the Young Indians, YI of Confederation of Indian Industries-CII, to organize ‘The BIG IDEA CHALLENGE’ for college students and Young Innovators.

Academia Connect Events An orientation event for encouraging Entrepreneurship Cell Coordinators of 20 Colleges, in and around the region.

Reach-out to potential entrepreneurs : Participated in the Agro Rural Expo, Reached-out to 40,000 potential entrepreneurs. Developed a database of aspiring potential entrepreneurs .
